summer reading game board
I designed Cuyahoga County Public Library’s summer reading gameboard – theme: LIBRARIES ROCK! It included a 12×18 folding gameboard, web/social ads, and t-shirt designs. Using Auggie the Owl (library’s mascot), I made an owl rock band touring the USA. I sketched and used Adobe Illustrator for elements, with final touches in Photoshop. Inspired by Hendrix, Little Richard, Prince, and Questlove.
I created all the characters from scratch. Good old pencil and paper. No tracing, no shortcuts—just me sketching until each one had its own vibe.
